This worksheet asks students to create a “cast list” for the current title with one-sentence descriptions of the motivations (i.e. goals and desires) of its major characters that help to explain the story’s conflicts.
Grading Rubric:
Equal parts credit for a) clean grammar/punctuation/spelling and b) plausibility of descriptions.
